Shut the frick up you fricking tools
Lebron > Kobe and its not even close
A guy who hasnt done shite as a #1 option and shoots 40% in the Finals getting compared to a 6 time Final MVP and the GOAT? Shut the frick up ****. Lebron doesn't deserve MJ comparisons either... yet. but Kobe will NEVER EVER be worthy of such comparisons and NEVER HAS BEEN.
Kobe will fail to win a ring this year despite a team stacked with size speed and depth. What the frick will be said then?
OH, and the 2006 Finals were fricking rigged and the Mavs are the 2006 champions. frick all of you

Sorry Ghaz, but NBA players, GMs, and I favor Kobe. He is the best right now.

Come on Now. Look I love Lebron but seriously? I mean he hasn't even got one ring yet.

Lebron may be equal or better than MJ physcially. But what made Jordan the best was his elite athletic ability combined with his uncomparable drive/passion.

I'm not sure Lebron's drive is as strong as MJ's. I'm not saying he doesn't have it. But I've never seen an athlete refuse to lose like Jordan.

LeBron is allowed, to do a jump shot, realize he is going to get stuffed, hold on to the ball, land.. then shoot + get fouled when nobody touches him.

Pretty hard to beat that.

But yes, he is physically superior to anyone we've seen thus far. Jordan had more skills, though.

That sounds a like MJ on the court

I love Jordan. But not many teammates and opponents liked him. He did get pretty much every call

Now about the whining thing. Kobe did do a lot of that in the 3 years after Shaq left

The past 2 he hasn't said much

When he averaged 35.4 that season he whined so freakin much.

As far as Kobe goes, I have DWade passing him up as the better player right now. I'm curious to whether Kobe starts dropping off a bit next year....he is starting to hit that age where players usually do.

Isn't Dwyane Wade 27.

I think Kobe will be at 27ppg still

People forget Kobe is 30

Jordan won what 4 titles after he turned 30?

Not saying Kobe is Jordan. HES NOT. But I think he can play another 6 years at a 25ppg + clip

And in the crunch times of games he can still dominate

Well, that really is where Jordan was a freak. Most guys start going down hill when they get north of 30. Doesn't mean Kobe will, but he certainly could. I thought DWade and Kobe were neck and neck this past season (slightest of edges to Wade since I'm a Heat fan I guess). The Heat could be the big surprise team next year IMO, if it turns out Beasley is a star, and I think there is a chance he will be, then both him and Chalmers having another year under their belt will be huge.

Pippen would be matched up against LeBron and MJ would be on one of the smaller guards. Pippen would be one of the better, if not the best, that Lebron ever faced. Look back at the Lakers Bulls in the Finals when Pippen match up against Magic.

Nobody on the Cavs could stop MJ, not even LeBron. Bulls would destroy the Cavs. Bulls should have won 10 straight titles if MJ would never had retired.

I don't know about 10, I really would have loved to see that Spurs team that won the title after the Bulls play the Bulls. They had two guys in Duncan and Robinson that the Bulls couldn't have matched up with. Whoever Rodman was guarding the other one would have lit them up. Honestly at that point I don't think Rodman could have done much with Duncan anyway.

Offensively, Duncan is solid but still over-rated. Rodman would have given Duncan fits. Cartwright (or whatever goofball big man they had) could have contained Robinson. Was Bowen on the team back then? He would have been problems for Jordan but Pippen would have been such an X factor just like he always was. Pippen was so under-rated, due to MJ's shadow.. not to mention how consistant Bulls point-guards were with also being great 3-point shooters to kick it out to.

Cartright hadn't played for the Bulls in forever at that point in time, someone like Bill Wennington or Luke Longley would have had to guard the Admiral. Rodman was like 36 or 37 that year, Timmay would have outplayed him significantly IMO at that point in time. I always felt that Spurs team might have beat the Bulls had they all come back for one more run.

I personally think the Spurs got better down the road when they had Parker-Ginobli-Bowen-Duncan all going at full force, amongst other good supporting cast members.

I do too, but that team might have taken the Bulls out in 99. Robinson was still at a high level, Timmay was all NBA, and Sean Elliot was no slouch. Can't remember if Bowen was on there back then or not.

extra titles are debatable, but if jordan hadn't left for basically two full seasons he would have led the league in scoring for 12 consecutive years. which is fricking absurd. he won 7 scoring titles in a row, left for those 2 seasons, then won 3 in a row when he came back

Have you ever seen Jordan play. I mean he made the winning shots for how many playoff series including NBA finals. Lebron hasn't won shite yet as far as titles go. You might want to rethink this at least until he does.
