will be the lowest rated superbowl in history

Yeah, the Chiefs going for a 3peat versus a 14-3 Eagles team is going to be the lowest rated Super Bowl, sure thing. Despite the fact that the previous Eagles-Chiefs Super Bowl is the second highest viewed of all time, behind last year.

Now would a Lions-Chiefs Super Bowl have generated more excitement and done better numbers? Probably so, but this game is going to do very well.

True, but the Chiefs seem to get the vast majority, and virtually every single important 50/50 call. Shouldn't 50/50 calls wind up roughly 50/50?

Baader-Meinhof phenomenon.

I disagree. First, I didn't only recently learn about this, I've been watching it for a good while now, and no it's not bias, it's what I perceive with my own eyes.

Recency bias is only a small part of the phenomenon and recency bias can go on for a long period of time, even years.

and no it's not bias

Trust me some component of it is.

Baader–Meinhof phenomenon or frequency illusion is often based on what we actually see which is what makes it so strong and hard to self-diagnose. Almost everyone will deny it more than most bias which is incredibly hard for most people to accept especially when they "see it with their own eyes". You often experience frequency bias when you acquire something new. Buy a red car and people often start to see more and more red cars. They are seeing it with their own eyes but it doesn't make their feeling that there are more red cars real. What you have to look at is what you don't see.

Y’all can all say you won’t watch it but you will.

And the ratings will be spectacular for this Super Bowl, as always.

There is no way I can watch that fricking garbage. This game was an atrocity and the NFL is a pile of shite.

Imagine feeling the need to post this. No one cares. You won’t be missed. And you’re lying.

Don't care anything for either team but I'll watch for everything that comes with a Super Bowl.

Well, I'm tired of the Chiefs in general, Mahomes, Kelcie and the sidebar that is TayTay for certain since they are all over the place on TV and other mediums. The only saving grace from that team for me is their Head Coach Andy Reid. I love to see him doing well, and in doing so, have to put up with the others.

I'm no fan of the Eagles but especially have no love of their obnoxious fan base with the way they have been portrayed in treating visiting team fans at their stadium.

That said, I'll still watch the game, tune out the halftime show, laugh and cringe at some of the commercials in all likelihood and hope for a competitive game in the end.

I've not missed watching a Super Bowl game since they began, so why start now.

You could scarcely find two more unlikeable teams ... Mahomes and Barkley are as good as they come, however, and alone probably make the game worth watching.

Since I don't have a dog in the hunt I just hope it's a close, competitive game.

The current state of NIL/Transfer league college football is a lot more atrocious in my opinion.

College football is unwatchable now.

I may watch out of morbid curiosity or just the event of it but not motivated to at all. Will probably find something else like an old rerun.
