I think he’s one of the most smug people on television. Did he go to Duke?

The irony of him using "coded language" on Boeheim's comments on Jalen Johnson. What a piece of shite.

Phonz just called him out

Bilas oozes a smugness and self-righteous douchebaggery that is unrivaled.

That’s exactly what prompted this. He makes me irrationally angry lol.

I had the same idea. And I was all set to make up an elaborate explanation of how I tuned into ESPN.

Jay Bilas used to be one of the best. He just got too full of himself and now he's insufferable.

He went to Duke. He’s always been a pompous jackass.

Played there in the mid 1980s. I used to like Bilas, but the more he talks about off court shite, the less I like him.

The longer Jay has been in the booth, the bigger his head has gotten. There's nothing wrong with what Boeheim said. It's his opinion of the situation. These coddled athletes can't stand it when someone calls their decision-making into question. The "coded language" comment is insulting and irresponsible.

I think he is a great basketball analyst, but he loses me when he gets on his soapbox about how evil the NCAA is.

I know. I don’t think he’s gone a full hour without making sure everyone knows that.

I can't stand democrats in sports these days.

I can't watch a single college basketball broadcast these days without some segment coming out of a commercial break about how the players and coaches on one or both of the teams are grand social justice racial justice black lives matter fighters.

The segment is always like this:

Play by play guy: "X player on the court, this man got involved in the fight for racial justice over the summer and got his teammates, campus and community involved in the black lives matter movement. His goal is to make real change"

Color commentator, with a forced tone as if he is obligated to chime in, so he gives the bare minimum: "Yeah it really is great what they are doing"

This is usually after a commercial break that featured black lives matter PSAs from various companies and often a conference specific black lives matter PSA produced by the conference that the teams are a member of.

He is always talking about how much schools profit off the players. He’s never stopped to think about how he profits off the players.
