how bout the Superdome? It would guarantee good(warm) weather. I don't know about the logistics, but they used to host the SEC tourney some years, no?

I don't like the idea of baseball indoors. I know teams do it, but I don't like it.

The only other places other than Zephyr would be Fair Grounds field in Shreveport or Bringhurst in Alexandria. And I think Zeph would draw more people.

it was played in the superdome at the begining of the season...it was lsu, tulane, and uno against 3 teams from another state...ole miss, miss state, and usm...texas, texas a&m, and rice

Superdome can't be used; they don't have turf for a baseball setup anymore. And count us out, since the Z's and Maestri raped us after Katrina you won't see a Rick Jones team set foot in that place.
