It was 20-25 years ago... I could take an all star team in the three biggest sports that would be competitive with anyone from today

Yeah it’s not that long ago. Seems like Shamrock is still fighting.

The UFC started 25 years ago. Fighters from near the beginning of the sport probably wouldn’t do well just like players from near the beginning of the big three sports wouldn’t do well.

They would get destroyed. Today’s fighters are much more well rounded and they wouldn’t get to blatantly juice.

They would get destroyed. Those guys were very specialized outside of maybe Ken shamrock. Very very few fighters can pull off being one dimensional now.

How would certain fighters..Cormier..GSP..Bones..today do if they were plopped down back in those days at the beginning of UFC? Same quality skill set they have now just vs all of them in their time.

Would they just completely run train through them and retire undefeated or would there be a fighter that could take them.

Frank Sinatra came into my shop one day and I said "between me and you, how old is Royce Gracie?" He said he's 137 years old.

First UFC fights were an 8 man tournament, no weight classes, no rounds...... get in the ring and fight till you have a winner.
