Chicago was a dumpster fire.

Chicago then got Phil Jackson, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman. LeBron never got such a great supporting cast.

Right he didn't wait long enough. Building a team takes time. They bent over backwards for him. They went and got Shaq for him. Tried to get him a good PG. Fired a coach for him

So in seven years MJ had the GOAT coach and a Hall of Famer in his prime playing with him?

In LeBron's seven years in Cleveland the best coach he got was Mike Brown and the only superstar that joined him was Shaq, when Shaq was well over the hump.

Sounds like Cleveland wasn't invested enough in their superstar to me.

Seriously...what in the frick were they thinking? The Bulls did it right. I don't even like the Bulls but I like the Bulls...does that even make since? They got the GOAT and capitalized and soon after EVERYONE was a Bulls fan(or at least it seems like it). Cle could have been the Bulls for young kids these days. They fricked up bad.

And how many titles did Jordan win in those 7 years before Phil got there?

They won 3 straight Titles with Rodman. Also, Rodman won 2 Titles without Jordan....so....

Jordan was very forceful and pulled out the strings. He would publicly humiliate his owner, he didn't care. They wouldn't have got Pippen or fired Collins without Jordan's influence.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but that's just not LBJ's personality to act like that

Jordan legitimately had a competitive disorder. The only athlete I know who is comparable would be Ty Cobb.

But he was clever and fun with the media. He was an awe-inspiring player to watch. So everyone sort of overlooked his dickishness. It was known about him getting in fights at practice. No one gave a crap.

That it wasn't a matter of "time" for Cleveland, LeBron gave them enough time not to be retarded and to actually give a guy with the talent and skill to be the GOAT the teammates to go earn it.

Also that comparing getting Shaq and Mike Brown to getting Pippen and Phil Jackson =

I had a buddy like that. We were both competitive and good at everything. He's fight me if I beat him in pool or something without giving him a chance to beat me back. If I got hot and won a few we'd fight then too. Couldn't put us on the same team in anything. He had a competitive disorder for sure. He just wasn't MJ at anything

Jordan once got beat in a ping-pong game by a teammate after practice. So he went and built a $100,000 ping-pong room in his house. Within a month, he was the best ping-pong player on the team.

They went 66-16 and lost in the Conference finals.

What changes with Jordan on this team? Does he get them to the finals? Does he do as well with this team as Lebron did?

Jordan won a title in every season he lead his team to at least 56 regular season wins or won at least 68% of those games

Lebron has reached those marks in his last 5 seasons
