How will Jalen Hurts be remembered as a college QB?

Led Bama to the Championship game, but was pulled at halftime.

Led Bama in the second half of the SECCG, and benched for NCG.

Led Oklahoma to the CFP, only to be blown out against LSU.

Great career, nothing memorable.

Great athlete, mediocre QB. Put up big stats against overmatched opponents. Struggled in most big games against good teams

Tahj Boyd-esque(not in playing style) but in bigger games on better teams.

If I’m him, I say “I’m the next Taysom Hill.”

He led Alabama to a Championship game as a freshman and scored a go ahead TD with minutes left in the game. Watson was on the other side of the ball though.
I’ve always pulled for Hurts. He’s had a wild ride. I wish this game was a little closer for his sake.

Didn't he win a title as a starter?

Doesn't seem as fast as Taysom. Bama said Hurts ran a 4.48 but since it came from the school I'd add another tenth.

His performance last year in replacing Tua vs Georgia is quickly forgotten

Athletic but not talented QB. Overmatched at the highest levels of college football. Great against most competition

The defense did. He never had to put up more than 14 to reach the nattie

Clemson scored 40 in that title game loss. Ole miss 40 something and Arkansas had 30 that year. Not to be too literal but Bama needed some big games from the offense that year and got them from him
