How overrated is Danica Patrick

Not a NASCAR/IndyCar fan by any means but I am sick of her mediocre career being shoved down everybody's throats.
I get the feminism movement but there has to be some chick out there better than her and if not, she should not be taking Nationwide or Sprint slots to a drive much more deserving regardless of their sex.

She won the Nationwide pole over every other driver in the series, so I'd say she deserves to be there.

she won 1 IRL race. Sam Hornish Jr was a series champion and failed in Sprint Cup. Danica deserves none of the press shes receiving. Give her two years and she will bounce out. The only reason shes got a sponsor is because godaddy.com has made SO much off of her. She is a terrible racer.

I don't think there is anyone - in any sport - who receives more attention and deserves less attention than Patrick.
And on top of that, she's an absolute piece of shite as a person. Total fricking diva who doesn't understand that she's a carnival act.
NASCAR and the networks may be making money off of her this year, but it's cheap money that won't be there when she flames out, which she certainly will.

I'd like to see her parallel park in less than 5 movements. Then I'd be impressed.
They sell her like she is some kind of female crusader. In racing you have to have the equipment to really show what you can do but you have to show something before you get the equipment. That same catch 22 affects everybody. That's why there are so many brother pairs and fathers and sons in racing. It ain't because there's some kind of special DNA. Some day some racer's daughter will want to get into it and she may be really decent.

In her defense somebody wrecked her from behind today. It is Daytona after all. She led the race before that happened. Just sayin...
