Once a year, once every 2 years? Also do you pay to get them re-gripped or do you do it yourself?
Also, what types of grips do you typically use?

Probably about every 40 rounds or so
I've done them myself but will probably have them done next time bc it's kind of a PITA
I like corded grips, but I have some lamkins now that aren't corded
Check golfsmith if you are gonna do it yourself, they always have blemished grips for really cheap

Not nearly enough, but I like to do it myself. It's really easy and cheaper

is that too much or too little?
that probably equates to about annually honestly
eta: and thats if a club lasts that long in my bag
i've had my r11 driver for 2 1/2 years and i just put my 3rd grip on it

it probably is, especially considering you use some clubs a lot less than others
i wont always replace the full set at once, i may separate into wedges, irons, and woods

That seems like you would have to do that very often...like every 2-3 months?

I did this thread last year on the OT. Last time I ever talked about golf there. Lots of douche bags telling me to get them done at my 'club's pro shop' and shite.

i'd avoid winn grips as well....they feel great when new but they don't seem to last for me at all

I think I'm gonna try and do it myself. Checked out videos online and it doesn't look that hard.

I mean if you played 4 rounds a week...that's 16 rounds a month. 3 months would put you well over 40 rounds.
It's a given you'd play at least 2 rounds on the weekend. 1 saturday and 1 sunday. So thats just 2 rounds in the week somewhere.

If you have a clamp on a workbench, it isn't that hard.

I use Golf Pride tour velvet, can usually get about 2.5 years out of them. Do it yourself, it's pretty simple to do. Just regripped my putter last week to a Winn jumbo lite grip, made a few putts with it Saturday.
