Did he do anything differently than what the rest of the Big Ten does?

We all know about Penn State.

Ohio State hired Tressel when they knew what he did at Youngstown. They hired Urban when they knew what he did at Florida.

Michigan State had Nassar doing his Diddy stuff and they knew about Mel Tucker for months.

Southern Cal was selling off athletic scholarships to anyone with 7 digit plus income.

Hell everything about Oregon is a bought and paid for facade.

The SEC’s only issue (outside of the retards at LSU) is dumbass players speeding in Chargers and coaches not winning enough games.

His excuse will be they investigated, and he’ll have all the documentation, but didn’t have any concrete evidence.

How do you prove an affair if both parties deny it? Hire an investigator to stalk and spy on your head coach?

Option A: He was trying to get to the truth, and weed out any seedy behavior and other violations, but doing so would alienate his head coach.

Option B: He knew and didn’t care, but went through the motions for appearances. However, he had to know the rumors were still flying and this could blow up.

Option C: He knew and used it to his advantage. He could keep it under wraps as long as things were going good.

Or, he could use the affair at anytime get rid of Moore at anytime without a financial penalty.

B or C are the most likely, but option A will be his excuse.

Not indicative of an affair

A coach contacting his staffer on a Michigan device is normal.

Both had the same story until she came back and said it was a lie…a year later. The question is, did anyone else “provide receipts” prior to her coming forward a year later. Then he’ll be in hot water if so.

Well if the reports are true and she brought text messages and emails to them proving he was stalking her then, yes, they could have done a better job of investigating.

I believe you’re conflating two separate timelines.

Timeline 1: a year ago - AD investigation turns up nothing bc both Moore and Paige said nothing was happening. You can’t go snooping on phones w/o a warrant

Timeline 2: Paige gets pissed bc Moore wants abortion #2 to happen. She refuses, probably threatens to expose him to his wife and AD. Moore doesn’t comply so she rats him out and shows the texts/messages/whatever.

People are forgetting there were at least two investigations. One bore fruit. One did not.

That applies to criminal investigations. Employees have zero expectation of privacy on employer-owned devices and sometimes on employee-owned devices if known to be used for employer business.

Employment manuals, state regulations, and case law give UM a lot more freedom and flexibility to conduct investigations. Typically in cases like these, lots of people knew but those in authority had plausible deniability as long as they didn’t look too closely.

Some of yall say things so confidently

Anyone that wants to take the time to engage in the FOIA process can get whatever text messages they want off of Sherone Moore’s UM phone
