How have the ratings been for ESPN’s Sunday Night WNBA?

As a fan of the W, I can’t imagine the ratings are close to what Sunday Night Baseball was doing. Are they stupid? Are they just dead set on forcing WNBA down everyone’s throat? Manfred is a jabroni, but most of this seems to be on ESPN. Has anybody seen the ratings? I’ll hang up and listen. TIA

Yes, even if it kills them.

My wife and her bf head down to the local BWW every Sunday night to catch the games and enjoy some fantastic wings on his tab.

There is this WNBA fan guy on Youtube that i like to watch and laugh. He's so into the WNBA, and he's called them out for hiding the tv numbers.

It just amazes me how MLB has been mismanaged for the last twenty years. Shitty tv contracts and letting ESPN focus on the RSox/Yanks constantly, not making anything special in the regular season, 4th of July being practically ignored as an opportunity for a primetime spectacle...

There's no baseball tonight. All Star Break. Dbacks-Dodgers this afternoon was the last game today.

Which means it's movie night for me.

Viewership for the game was up 53% from ESPN’s WNBA regular-season average last season and up 3% from last season’s Indiana Fever average on ESPN.

Sunday Night Baseball is averaging substantially more viewers, though that shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering NBC airs the games over the air. On a Nielsen-only basis, Sunday Night Baseball averaged 2.71 million viewers over the same three weeks, rising to 3.1 million average viewers when including Adobe Analytics-measured streaming on Peacock.

But just because Sunday Night Baseball is winning in average viewers does not mean the move was bad for ESPN. NBC pays around $200 million a year for Sunday Night Baseball, while the WNBA’s entire media rights agreement sees six media companies combine to pay roughly $280 million annually.

The new pro softball league isn’t bad. Every so often you see some camel toe.

My boys just asked what sports were on and they chose summer league nba over wnba. They would’ve loved to watch baseball

Just swept the Nationals while riddled with injuries, you would know that if you followed ball.

Are you asking the above poster about his wife and her bf after leaving BWW?

If so, probably yes.
