Your working out means squat if you've never kicked before

Definitely doable I'd think. When I was in high school my friends and I would play 'pick-up' football at a local HS stadium and kick FGs afterwards. None of us were ever formally trained in kicking - my personal best was 37 yards off the ground and my buddy made a 45 yarder once or twice. He was money from 35 and in.

Or a 33 yard field goal

45 yard field goal

If you've never kicked before you have zero chance at either. You probably couldn't even get the distance on the 33 yarder.

Furthest I've ever made is 35 yards.

That was after about 25 tries and if there was a six foot five offensive lineman in the way, it would've hit him in the back. It was ugly as hell but did go in.

I kicked one once in a bet from the 15 yd line in high school. Guess that makes it a 20 yder?

My buddy who was a soccer player could boot a 40yd FG. He also played minor league baseball so he was an athlete.

I've played soccer my whole life and have made 45 yarders. But in pads I don't think I could. Also it's hard to be consistent. I might smoke one through and then the very next attempt hit my left guard in the arse.

I will be given two weeks to practice.

No tee, off the ground. No rush. Just straight on.

I will be given 10 tries too.

Didn't see this.

Definitely possible from 33. IDK about from 45. If it happens to be windy on game day you are probably screwed from both distances.

If it was easy it wouldn't even be a part of the game.

Also kickers wouldn't be in the NFL very long. They would get dropped after their first contract and a new guy would be brought in at a lower price, and without the perks that come along with being a veteran in the NFL.

I'd never kicked before, but always wanted to learn how, or at least try to.

I started reading on technique and watching videos. Eventually, I started kicking 3-4 times a week. It took me a really long time to get to where i could hit from 30, even few times out of 10.

It's flattering to hear it's so difficult.

I tried this my freshman year in HS, thinking I could make varsity as a kicker pretty easily. I read up on technique and road my bike to a park that had uprights and marked off PAT distance with my mom's tape measure.

I never kicked before, but I was decently athletic and I sucked. It took about 3 weeks to make half my PAT attempts from dead on. Would have been worse if I tried from the hashes.

It's harder than most people think.

I tried it soccer style, which made it harder, never having played soccer. It felt great when I was finally able to strike one clean and straight every few kicks.

I've seen girls do it, so it should easily be done by your common MSB poster.

I can kick a 30 meter penalty kick (like a field goal) with a rugby ball. Never tried kicking a football
