and to the guy who tiered them above, Josh Smith doesn't really play PF this year. He has moved to SF with the addition of Collins
He's still a PF...and he's at the bottom of the list. You could put Odom in his spot if you wanted to.

lol at San Antonio not taking a timeout.

meh, if he is it isn't by much. I'd take Scola on my team over Randolph.
And hot damn, the #8 seed Grizz are up 2-1 in the series

I am from Memphis and I can tell you that we WANTED the Spurs. We didn't want to be a 6 and play Dallas, or the 7 and play the Lakers. We wanted the Spurs and knew we could take them.

he would move up tremendously if he wasn't lazy and actually tried on a consistent basis. Dude has a crazy skill-set and athleticism for his size.

I wish you were Chris Wallace.

I mean, Scola gets you 18/8 while Randolph is getting you 20/12.

Come on man, we are going off of Fiba stats now? lord. You know who balls like a man on a mission in FIBA: Hamed f'in Haddadi, and I don't see him lighting up any scoreboards in the league.
Scola is good and efficient, but he is not Top 5.

Bro, I am a Houston fan and Scola is probably my favorite Rocket aside from lowry, and I would trade him + someone like Courtney Lee for Randolph any day of the week.

Yeah I love Smith..there are just a lot of good 4's in the league. I didn't even list David Lee, Milsap, or Jefferson.

The GM of the Grizzlies.

I'm sorry it offends so many people that I'd take Scola over ZR. Guess it's a good thing that I'm not a GM and my opinion doesn't matter. So I'll repeat it again and you can quote it and sig it for all I care. I'd take Scola on my team over ZR. It's not like Randolph does anything exponentially better than Scola (he's a slightly better rebounder and probably a better post-defender). Scola has the better offensive skill-set IMO, and has a more consistent mid-range jumpshot. No stats to back this, jmo. I also think he defends the perimeter better for a big man and is a better team player. He also doesn't have the baggage/attitude that ZR brings. yep, I'd take Scola on my team over ZR.

In Memphis he was forced to become a team leader. He always was very talented, but his mental state was a bit questionable at the end of his Portland run and his stints in NYC/LAC. I think returning to a small market was a big deal for him. He couldn't handle the scrutiny he got in NY/LA. In Memphis, he's playing with house money.
