Charles Brown is probably already better than Bushrod as we speak. J Brown gets one more year, they let him walk then next year there's a competition for the LT spot which Charles most likely wins
They'll just draft another RT sometime in the future. Stinch is coming off his best year
I agree, im not a huge fan of Bushrod at LT. But hes good until Charles Brown is ready to step in. Im not sure if J, Brown gets another year or not.

So bench a pro-bowl player?
no. Stinchcomb is 30. In 2 or so years he may get old or get hurt all the time and the Saints will need a replacement. You are thinking way to short term.

I'm not disagreeing. I'm just saying perhaps if they like Bushrod that much they could play brown and him not choose.

This is obvious.

Can you come up with your own thoughts?

quote:They arent gonna cut him. He'll either get traded or be forced to sign his RFA tender. If he's here he'll be the starter for this season. He'll still want his big contract after the season, which the Saints wont give him because they have CB to replace him

I agree. Plus Brown needs some time. He has got to get stronger. That is his biggest problem.

I agree, I wasnt trying to say that. I was basically saying I think theyre going to trade him eventually, and I think theyd love it done ASAP.

I say trade him now and get value for him. Bushrod is better than Jamaal "Holding" Brown IMO.
Brown's a 2 time Pro Bowler

Robinson will be the Nickelback or dimeback.

Which would make him a nickel or dime back.

Now you're really going to fire him up.

ok Robinson may be the nickelback this year as a rookie. However, what about down the road? Greer is 27. He will need to be replaced sometime. In addition, in the NFL teams need 3 good CB's.

I agree with that. But these positions are set for at least a few years. Who is going to start at OLB THIS YEAR?

that remains to be seen. The team is obviously high on Arnoux. They could be making a trade we don't know about yet. They could sign a FA. There are many unknowns. They obviously didn't feel an OLB was worth taking.
