How did Florida/Missouri get so lopsided after even first half?

Did Florida get out schemed that bad during halftime?

It was 10-10 at half. Neither team could do much.

Then Missouri just destroys them. How do you go from playing a good game for a full half then just get absolutely dominated?

Well the first problem is that is was not 10-10 at half. It was 20-10.

Missouri dominated both sides of the ball.
Missouri put up almost 600 yards of offense, and it could of been 800.

Florida got a late td drive to get over 200 yards of offense.

simmons had a clean pocket almost all game

easiest summary

All Florida does well is run the ball. Might have a solid defensive like I guess.

Their defense is arse and their QB isn’t carrying them anywhere.

Slow or stop their run game and UF can’t be bent over.

Classic letdown game. They were riding high from last weeks win and overlooked Mizzou

Getting blown out like that speaks to a bit more than just being a let down game.

Florida had a great matchup against a weak ole Miss rush / edge defense and were able to get enough stops against Chambliss to make that score ugly bc they just dominated so hard in the run game

Mizzou did enough to shut down the run to make Philo make big 3rd down plays and he faltered. And on offense they finally put it all together and Simmons was on absolute fire all day and that combo went belt to arse.

Styles make fights as they say. Florida will struggle against anyone who can contain Baugh unless Philo takes a leap

I don't think yesterday was even about Philo.

Florida's offensive line got absolutely blasted. Didn't matter who was at QB.

NIL players quit once they get far enough behind.... they don't care about winning, they only care about themselves and being paid.
