meh, they are also both pretty good coaches. Patterson is a whiner but he's not wrong about Briles. Briles's teams have a history of this sort of thing. It's what he teaches and I can see how other coaches would have a problem with it.

Even if Patterson feels that way, leaking it to the press is a chicken shite move, and this isn't the first time he has publicly whined about other teams. He needs to worry about his own program and getting them out of the gutter.

Besides, didn't like 70 players at TCU fail drug tests last year? I know he brought back Devonte Fields from a suspension so he could play big game. Patterson is no angel

Briles is beginning to feel some of what top programs have to deal with. Top talent doesn't always equal good kids. Sometimes you end up with a POS, and you have to reevaluate your process, to try and weed some out, or hope they don't blow up.

Clearly a cheap shot career type ending hit. I don't have a problem at all with Patterson defending his player. I Would only hope Miles would do the same if it were LSU.

We already knew their basketball program reeked of a stench when it comes to dirty and shady tactics but their football program is on the up and coming to be the next Thug U One of their safeties, Dixon had a cheap shot of all cheap shots last night and was ejected for targeting, and by rule the player has to leave the field. Dixon continued to remain on the sideline and jaw, and then finally Gary Patterson finally had to tell the refs that he hasn't left the field, which prompted Briles to come across the field and complain at Patterson for tattling. Dixon finally had to be escorted out of the field forcefully, which caused him to blow kisses to the crowd and go back and forth with the fans. Briles did nothing to discourage the antics nor put a stop to it did the coaches escorting him to the locker room. Then in the locker room Dixon decided to tweet about Casey Pachall's past drug problems. Lack of class coming from Waco. But what do you expect when the athletic department sells their soul to the devil as they were on a one way ticket to Conference USA before all of this. The whole team is a bunch of thugs. Will have to pay the piper eventually

You wasted a lot of time with this.

Lol some butt hurt in this thread.

Art Briles doesn't give a frick what Patterson thinks or says, Briles has more important things to worry about like burying his brother today.

And leave it to the aggy in this thread to only tell half the story. GTFO.

I've seen Dixon take some cheap shots at players from the very little Baylor I've watched this year

Yep, Patterson needs to quit being a bitch and deal with the fact that Baylor is now a better program than TCU.

With the new stadium coming next year, don't expect that to change anytime. TCU is on the level of SMU

5 players tested positive for THC. One was suspended for the whole year from the team and university and had to do inpatient rehab. The others were allowed to stay on with a zero tolerance weekly drug test--far more than the NCAA requires. All of the other drug accusations were overblown and numerous leaders in the FWPD lost their positions over it. A bunch of 20 year old kids were cuffed, hauled in, and then cleared by DAs office because there was nothing but hearsay implicating them.

Supposedly the player involved for Baylor was actively taunting TCU players and laughing about the knockout hit with both other players and Baylor coaching staff. The TV broadcast was showing it and Patterson's booth let him know about it. Briles condones that kind of classlessness and has for 4 years and deserved to be called out for it.

If I were Patterson, I wouldn't want that piece of shite in my stadium, especially after he was already ejected and had no right to be there. I think most coaches wouldn't tolerate in their own stadium that kind of blatant cheapshot, laughing and taunting from the sideline, all while disregarding an ejection. I think it's laughable that anyone would think Patterson was out of line for pointing out to the officials that a now-ineligible player is on the sideline in uniform for the opposing team in this situation.

Let us know when Baylor wins something meaningful.

The greatest season in your program's history still only saw you beat TCU in their worst season in about two decades by a TD because of a brainfart by the TCU QB when overtime was a certainty. You would suck a mile of cocks to have the success of TCUs program in the past decade.

Edit: correction--won by a field goal, not even a TD.

And Patterson lets drug users play for him, as well as players with children out of wedlock. He's not much better

You thought wrong. TCU is loosely associated with but not governed by a Christian sect, and is run as a sectarian school. Baylor on the other hand is governed by the Southern Baptist Convention.

Congrats, you won a bunch of games in a mid major conference. Baylor already has a heisman winner, and may have another one this year. They are certainly on the upswing, while TCU looks like nothing but a doormat in the Big 12
