I'm just glad my old buddy Outlaw Dave is back on FM radio

I remember when he was on 97.5 when they became a rock station around 2005ish. Walton & Johnson in the morning, Outlaw Dave, and they had a pretty localized talk show in the afternoon with Jim Pruitt (RIP) and another guy. They’d bring on for a bit every day an oil & gas markets analyst, Alan Lammey, who was interesting as well.

Radio in general had gone way downhill in just even the most recent decade.

I really miss the old Sean and John show from old school 1560.

This right here. It’s a shame that 1560 didn’t survive, it could have been Houston’s version of The Ticket. There was so much talent on their roster and they did a great job with listener engagement and roadshows.

1560 was Gow Media. It's grown into 92.5 + 97.5, plus Houston Culture Map, Houston Sports Map, Hudl, etc.
