If i'm Orlando, i'm taking all that young talent and tell dwight to go frick himself and let that bitch be someone else's problem.

But its not even in the ballpark of fair value for him. As big of a bitch as he's been, I'd still be really tempted to actually make him walk in FA if I were Orlando. The money difference is huge, there is no possible way he gets to Brooklyn now, and the S&T rules prevent anyone but them from getting him for the extra year.

Orlando NEEDS to do this now. You can't let this become like the Shaq situation.

You get good young players:

Jeremy Lamb
Terrance Jones
Royce White
Chandler Parsons
Marcus Morris
Patrick Patterson

That's a damn solid foundation to rebuild with.

Someone give me the back story on Montejunas and tell me what kind of player he is.

Biggest question I have is, if Dwight, JRich, Turkagooo and co. can't win in Magic, what makes you think they can win in Houston?

He's been compared to Dirk, but I see more Pau in his game. One of the better rebounding Euros, and he has a high skill level. Still, he went 19th last year so its not like he is a slam dunk to be an all-star but there is a lot of promise.

They can get a max player next year. CP3??? Thats a contending team with Paul.

Admittedly I'm jaded as a Mavs fan after getting passed over by DWill, but until a true max level guy actually walks away from all the extra money and the extra year under the new CBA I'll be skeptical of the ability to acquire those guys in FA. It's always been hard in the NBA, and the new rules make it harder.

so, Orlando's trading their best player, who they know the Rockets are hard up for, and they're not getting this guy back in the trade?

Yep, but those are very valuable trade assets to make further moves.

Orlando should get this done today.

I PRAY that Morey gets this done and lands either Howard or Bynum. For all the morons saying what are they doing, giving up their whole team for one player??!! It is the worst possible thing to be stuck being the 7th,8th,9th,10th seed in the NBA (which is exactly what the Rockets have been the past three seasons). You will forever be mediocre. Can-it to get a player in the draft, or land that super star to play with a depleted roster with cap space for a year in hopes of landing that big FA next offseason. You got this, Morey!

yeah I know that. well at least 3 out of the 4 bad contracts depending on what you read.

still, the Rockets seemed to have sold out for Dwight. make em give you their best prospect too. at least try.

Lamb, White, Jones, Morris, possibly Parsons, two 1st round picks, and cap space.

That is a lot

ETA: Monty signed last week, so i dont know if he can be included.

They have Montiejunas, who by reports would have been the 2nd overall pick in this past draft
No

You're talking about Valanciunas from Toronto.

Montiejunas is a mid first round prospect

montejuna is the inferior of those 2, though
