But it's still 2 different teams and schools

Imagine if Hoover and Spain Park were one team though. Between the two schools the city of Hoover has represented North Alabama in the State Championship Game of the highest classification every single year of his millineum so far.

I don't guess Hoover will ever make that return trip to play JC

Little small school John Curtis beat that arse. Hoover will never play them again.

Two different class teams.

Allen's well over 6,000... they might want to do something about that... maybe have one team for kids from A-M and another for N-Z

I don't know how close Allen is to being built out but if they could they'd have a 30,000 student high school some day.

Allen's superintendent is moving to Katy and one of the reasons given is that Allen is basically built out. Also guy went to school in Katy.

Live in Allen and we are built out. One of the many reasons I love it.

Allen this year will take small step back. They aren't as good as normal but will be good. Probably there weakest team in last 5-6 years and they have a new coach.

Depends on how good the new starters will be but I wouldn't be surprised if Hoover won.

Should be a good game either way

I forgot about that. I remember watching Joe McKnight absolutely shred through the Hoover defense with ease.

ETA: McKnight had 5 carries for 70 yards and 3 catches for 134 yards and 2 tds. Apparently he didn't play in the 4th.

Damn, no wonder they're good. It's like an all star team of a Louisiana school.

Nothing like using a prolific, all-time high school talent as the basis for a comprehensive argument.

Hoover is a damn good program.

we love living in allen and have been sucked into the 1 school town and following them.

its pretty cool seeing a small town TX feel on a friday night with a big city like Allen.

i went to buy tickets to a game last year at lunch on a friday and when i went to the stadium there were about 10 RVs set up and flags everywhere and people bbq'ing. it was awesome

also, Allens band is ridiculous. check out the pic below, thats them playing at our new stadium. largest HS band in the country. 700 kids

ummmm when your stadium has an upper deck

that would kind of suck if you had enough ability to make most HS rosters in the state, but you're stuck at a 6k student school...

they could field an entirely new varsity roster every year of nothing but seniors...

One of the best teams in Cali (DLS) lost to Euless Trinity (TX) this last season. ET was ousted in the first round of the Texas playoffs.
