SHHHH.

The spurs are terrible. Nobody pay any attention to those old men.

The "what about the Spurs?" narrative has been circulating for awhile now.

GS currently is at 29-1, Philly at 2-31. Also predict the number of each. I say Golden State loses 9 games (NBA record) but Philly wins 8 (also an NBA record over an 82 game season).

GS W's 5
based on Ezili being healthy and the kid from Belmont, Ian Clark, being able to sub for Curry if Curry is out a few games.

Phila 76 7

It's going to be close I think, but GS has not even played SA or OKC yet. Schedule has been pretty weak so far.

don't mean much. Look at how Spurs have fared v the most talented/best teams out there.

OKC - L
HOU - L
TOR - L
CHI - L

Their only good wins are LAC at home and DAL at home if you want to count them. Too many of their players are on the wrong side of their prime. Their system is good enough to steamroll most teams in the league but when they go up v the best well let's just say I wouldn't be surprised to see another rd 1 exit.

OKC is a good choice for a RD1 exit too.

I didn't say SA would sweep them, but out of the 7 games they'll play against SA and OKC, they'll lose 2 or 3 of those.

Yep.. Not impressed by them this season, the supporting cast is as bad as it's ever been.

I agree they've played awful, and yet, still 21-10.

Shameless bump. I nailed the GS wins, but was wrong on the question as Philly won 10 games.
It was an interesting thread.
