Nope. Arabia Mountain High School.

The 3 years i was there, we won 3 games each season. In the years since I graduated in 2012, they did go to the playoffs about 3 or 4 times, so that's pretty cool.

Also my sophomore year was the school's inaugural year of being open, so the history is extremely short.

Interesting name so I looked your school up and y'all have a couple NFL players.

Couple of state championships, many deep playoff runs, lots of players sent to college and a few to the NFL. Fallen on hard times recently and I don't see it getting better in the foreseeable future. This area isn't producing athletes like it used to.

Mostly winning seasons but never made any noise in the playoffs when I was in school in the late 90s. We were in Mississippi's 4A class for most of that time. Moved up to 5A and stayed pretty good in the early 2000s. Now they're in 6A. It's been mostly losing seasons since Katrina hit. I think I remember a stretch of something like one or two wins over a 3-4 year period. They did make a run to the second round of the 6A playoffs about 3-4 years ago.

ETA: We're a girls basketball school.

Buckeye - we won district my junior year but lost first round to BTW out of Shreveport. I think the other three years of school they combined to win maybe 9 games. I think they won a few district titles after I graduated but primarily the school is strong in softball and baseball (of course after I graduate we got good in that since I actually played that )

Yes.

John Curtis.
Football – 1 National Championship (2012), 27 State Championships

I won a couple of titles when I was there, started as a senior and was all-district. We were AAAA at the time, before the split.

Bring on the downvotes.

No we never made it to the dome. We made it to the second round when I was there. Woodlawn Baton Rouge won 3 basketball titles when I was there with coach almond. My senior year we got up to number 2 in the nation behind st. Vincent st. Mary’s led by lebron james. Darnell lazarre, kentrell gansberry, and ledell Echols are good dudes.

Rummel.

I went to many of the catholic league games in the early 2000's, and Rummel ruled the roost. That wasn't always the case before those years. Shaw ran things before that.

Some memories I have that will always stick with me:

1.) Rummel vs Shaw (twice) in 2000 - Rummel beat them for district, but Shaw came back with a vengeance and steamrolled them in the playoffs. That banner stretching across the entire visitor side @ Yenni reading "Keep the megaphone, we'll take the Dome" will always be burned in my mind

2.) Rummel vs Catholic in 2001 - Game was like 15 overtimes w/ Rummel coming out in the end.

3.) Rummel vs Evangel in 2001 - This playoff game was fricking wild. Even though Rummel got waxed by like 35+ that was THE largest crowd I have ever seen at a HS game. Evangel had JD Booty and no one was beating them. Both sides of Yenni were packed like sardines and the fences were full all along the side.

4.) Rummel vs. Sulphur in 06 in the semis - This was my last opportunity while in school to see if Rummel could go to the Dome for the first time before I graduated. They lost 7-0 on a cold cold night in front of a packed yenni on both sides.

5.) Rummel vs Barbe in 2012 - First 5A championship for Rummel after coming short so many times.

Saint Ignatius in Cleveland. Loads of football state titles and other sports. Academics great too, I think 40 people in my class went to Ivy League schools.

Windsor Forest HS in Savannah, GA. We were godawful until my senior year when we went 5-5 or 6-4.

Before that, we won 1,0, and 1 game my first 3 years. We played in AAAA, which at the time was the highest classification in GA. They now play in AAA and are a perennial playoff team.

Lafayette High. We were undefeated during the regular season and had to forfeit all of our games right before the playoffs started. We had an ineligible player.

It's crazy that West Monroe were the doormats in that district back then.

Neville and Ruston dominated that district for years before WM’s ascendancy
