Didn’t see this posted.

Can’t recall the last time a team was going to a bowl game yet fires the bulk of their offensive coaching staff.

SunDevils were predicted to finish 3rd, which they did.

Started a freshmen at QB and two on the line.

Oh, and Hue Jackson is rumored to be the new OC.

Making a bowl game isn’t that big of a deal anymore. ASU went 7-5, which is cause for firings and demotions at many Power 5 schools. Depends on the school.

Feel free to post the schools that have fired the bulk of their staff on either side of the ball heading into a bowl.

True. You just don’t get to coach in it.

Yes. Likens was on Graham’s.

But nobody forced any coaches on him.

He hired them all. Likens ans Yantis were on the previous staff. They werent forced on Herm.

In fact, Herm is the one who made Likens the OC as he was wr and passing game coordinator. Elevated him when Napier left for Louisiana. Likens has been at ASU for one year when Herm took over.

Yantis and Fishers contracts were up next month.

Your embarrassing response to my post shows how little you know about college football. Texas just fires its defensive coordinator and demoted its offensive coordinator after going 7-5.

LINK

You probably also think a Wisconsin team that is 10-2 with an embarrassing loss to 6-6 Illinois and a non-competitive loss to Ohio State merits the Badgers being ranked four spots ahead of Alabama. Bama lost by 5 to LSU and 3 at Auburn with a backup QB.

Meanwhile, Kevin Sumlin has made no move to get rid of the offensive coordinator that got him fired at A&M and who he has a career losing record with on his staff.

Herm isn’t just hiring black guys.

Current staff: Danny Gonzales, Shawn Slocumb, Dave Christensen, Shaun Aguayo, Joe Connolly, al luginbill, Kevin Mawae.

2/3 grad assistants are white.

You are comparing Texas to ASU.

And still failing. They didn’t fire 3 coaches off a side. They fired Orlando. Demoted another. Same thing w offense. LOL
