Some games TUA barely or didn't even play in the 3rd quarter as well

Tua played a combined 9 series in third quarters of Alabama's first 8 games

Good thing they have Jalen Hurts. Another QB capable of leading the Tide to a 12-0 record. Face it, he's just not that valuable to you guys

Would suck if he actually ended up falling short of the Heisman because of it.

Tua has changed Bama's offense tremendously and has made Bama's opponents play defense honestly. Saban hasn't had a QB like Tua, period!!!

Oklahoma's QB is just another QB doing what Oklahoma QB's do in the big12, throw for 1,000's of yards year after year.

Now tell us who is a difference maker here, you know like a Heisman winner should be....

There's is absolutely no way he loses.

Kyler is just the most productive of a series of talented system QBs at Oklahoma because he's hampered by the worst defense of a series of shitty defenses they've had over the years

Jalen Hurts could grad transfer to OU next year and put up better stats than Tua will at Alabama in a playoff run.

Doesn't make Jalen better when clearly he s not on the same level

Are they actually better defenses or are the SEC offenses that bad?

I used FPI and S&P. Both factor in offenses faced

It's just not even close. Tua is facing NFL level pass rushers, looking off defenders making throws directly to the outside shoulder on blanketed receivers, hitting streakers in stride every single time, or putting the perfect amount of touch to drop it in the middle. Kyler is facing zero pass rush bouncing around waiting for someone to be wide open, which happens often and if it doesn't he just takes off. And Tua has in effect played about 8 games to Kyler's 12. And the stats are STILL almost the same.

It's. Not. Even. Close.

Congrats to Tua

You suck at stats bro. The stats you posted aren't very different, and you left off the important indicators. We need attempts, completions and interceptions to draw any real conclusions . YPA, TD ratio and INT ratio are significantly more meaningful than the totals you posted.

His last 4 games were shootouts vs shitty defenses.

Tua’s last 4 included 2 games vs some of the best defenses in the country in LSU and MSU. The fact that the numbers are within 500 total yards and Tua has more TDs doesn’t make kyler look better than Tua.

How is Tuas defense compared to kyler's?

Tua played 5 defenses ranked in the top 30 in overall defensive efficiency

Murray played 1

This is silly

The Big 12 has 4 teams with winning records. If Tua puts up numbers and beats Georgia this vote won't be close. If Oklahoma loses to Texas again it's over.

Tua has missed approximately 19 quarters this year due to being benched in blowouts. That’s 4 and 3/4 games.

Tua’s played 7 1/4 games and put up his numbers.

Murray has missed just four quarters all year. He’s played 11 full games.

Imagine Tua getting 3 and 3/4 more games to pad his stats.

I'm with you on this. With solid defense, you'd expect some stops. Should have been more field goals if those defenses were as good as the SEC homers say they are.
