Who ya got? Right now, I'm inclined to say Smith. He's running away with it.

Geno will probably get penalized for playing in a variation of the Air Raid.

I agree. He keeps playing at that level, there's no stopping him. It's his to lose.

I could give a frick what offense he plays in. Not many QBs are THAT accurate on the deep ball. The Air Raid just lets him show off his skills.

Besides, WVU runs the fricking ball pretty good too. It's not like it's all passing.

The thing about previous Air Raid qb's, like the ones at Texas Tech, was they got exposed and beat by good teams. That hasn't been happening to WVU.

All it will take is one bad game and they will start pumping up Teo of Notre Dame, Barkley of USC, etc.

Because geno is legit. For damn sure. He is one of the most accurate deep ball throwers I have ever seen. His touch is unreal.

Then it's gonna have to be Kansas State, because no other team they play has a defense.

So you're not giving Oklahoma a shot to slow them down, let alone win?

If you call being aware that OU is giving up over 300 yards a game to mostly inept offenses being an idiot, then so be it. Their defense is not great. Have you watched football this year?

What exactly would you call the offense RGIII ran last year?

I don't really care either.

But history dictates otherwise.

It's early October. They still have to play OU.

And Graham Harrell lost what, 1 game his senior year?

He should win it

Sidenote-I feel like Geno ran a lot in the past. Has he stopped doing that and only uses his legs to create space and time, or is he still taking off when he wants to? I ask because that could get him injured then the answer is the field

It's a variatin of the air raid too, sure.

But Griffin also had tour-de-force rushing talents to go with his good passing numbers.

Also, Geno has thrown it 200 times in 5 games.
RGIII threw it just 400 times in 13 games.

That's roughly 10 more pass attempts per game.

Really, no one else is having a season good enough to win the Heisman. Te'o may end up going to NY, but Smith wins it.
