Of course it doesn’t for someone who definitely doesn’t have an agenda lol

This is a really poor attempt at making a point

The first part of your statement is reality. The second part is a personal desire. My point is that if you set betting lines based on personal desires, it would be a bad idea.

Bowers is still a bad dude.

Making the playoffs for a shite franchise is more important than being the best te in the league on a shitty team.

Daniels is going to win it easily but Bowers is awesome and going to be a problem for the next 10+ years.

Additionally, unlike Bowers, he’s not the best player at his position.

But he plays the most important position in team sports, not fricking tight end.

Yet, history has shown it’s far more rare for a rookie to be the #1 TE in the NFL than a rookie to be the #7 or #8 QB in the NFL.

He’s had a great season, but the Raiders have a dog shite supporting cast and allowed 434 points this season — playing behind way more often than leading. Who else was the QB going to throw to? The Raiders sucked without him and with him.

What Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix did is more impressive. Both took over teams with losing records and lead them to the playoffs. Both had over 30 total TD. These teams don’t make the playoffs without drafting these QB.

How many ROOKIE QB's completely flipped the won/lost record of their team. Ask any Raiders fan and they will gladly take Daniels over Bowers if the opportunity was there.

I'm a huge fan of both. Either deserves the award this season. You can look at Bowers' numbers and where he stands historically and it validates his choice. You can look at Daniels numbers along with the fact that Washington is finally back to being a serious team. The Raiders still suck. Legitimate arguments for both men.

It’s funny that you say that because the general consensus is that playing for the Raiders hurt him, considering he had 3 different QBs this year and they all sucked arse.

He put up a lot of yards this year but he would’ve put up even more if the Raiders didn’t go 3 and out all the time.

Them why has nobody replicated Bowers’ season when plenty have replicated Daniels and Nix?

Both had over 30 total TD

Which once again, is impressive, but is hardly historical or special

Washington also got a new head coach and their defense went from dead last in the NFL last year to Top 10 this year. They have good pieces on offense and a great OL. It’s not like Daniels carried them

Literally CJ Stroud last year and Bo Nix this year.

Also see my comment above on Washington’s defense drastically improving

Sure, but the award isn’t for the most valuable rookie. This isn’t hard to understand.

TEs were down this season, so I don't know how impressive it is that he's the best TE in the league. I like Bowers though. I wanted the Saints to draft him. I drafted him in all my fantasy leagues. I hope he continues to succeed.

Prior to today Daniels had 12 touchdown passes in the fourth quarter and overtime, the most by a rookie in NFL history Daniels has a bunch of crazy rookie stats as well and this is at the QB position.

I'm sorry, but what Daniels is doing for a team bad enough to have the 2nd pick is still more impressive than a bunch of receptions. At least to me it is.

We shall see.

It's truly tiresome. I can't stand the MSB at times, because it's like one collective circle jerk to hate on LSU fans who like LSU players doing well.

It doesn't bother me one bit to see non-LSU players praised around here. I think Tua is an awesome QB. I think Bowers is already the best TE in the league. I still think Burrow is a top 5 QB. I am a huge fan of Baker Mayfield. Have no issue with any of this stuff.

It pleases me to see non LSU people outside of TD praise some of these players, because nobody is calling them homers. Former LSU players can be great in the NFL and it's fine to praise them.
