It's a 4:34/mile pace held for almost two hours.
He ran a 17 second 100m dash 420 times in a row (I challenge anyone reading this to time themselves in the 100m dash. 17 seconds for 100m is probably an average time for a middle aged man).
World's fastest single mile is ~3:43.
BUT...Eliud has never proven he can do something that I personally have done myself and that is to run a 5 hour marathon. I mean, Eliud might be fast, but he's got nothing on my endurance!

I guess I’m not technically middle aged, but 17 seconds is absurdly slow for anyone under the age of 40.

I can't find it now, but they had a video of people in his hometown going nuts. Was super cool.

Came here to post this. I don’t think people truly appreciate how hard this is to do and how insane of an athlete you have to be do this. The mental side of it is just as daunting as the physical.
