Have the Texas Rangers turned things around or just hit a little hot streak?

After a pretty horrid start to the season the Rangers have been playing some pretty good baseball the last 10 games. 7-3 record over the stretch which includes a sweep of division leading Houston Astros, a 4 game split with Tampa Bay, and 2 out of 3 so far from division leading KC. Have they turned things around or just hit a little fools gold hot streak? What are your expectations going forward?

A little bit of both
Choo starting to find his swing
Andrus hitting the ball much better
Most of the lineup isn't hitting under .200 anymore like they did for all of April
Colby Lewis back to 2011 form
Blanks has been a nice addition
Wandy Rodriguez has pitched well since being added
I think this team with a healthy Darvish/Holland could have contended. Darvish-Holland-Gallardo-Lewis-Martinez would be a good rotation.
Still not sure if this team will have enough offensively, the bullpen still sucks, and the Detweiler spot in the rotation is a black hole.
Bad bullpen is what will keep this team down.
I say between 74-79 wins.

Catching a little fire offensively. Moving Choo back up to leadoff, sending Odor down, etc. etc. Will be interesting to see how Hamilton coming into the fold will affect the offense.
The entire pitching staff is still a gaping hole, especially the bullpen. We'll see if they get a shot in the arm once Holland, Harrison and Perez are available. Harrison is the closest to coming back. I think he's in EST right now.

I'd say it's just a little hot streak, random variation that is typical of baseball. That is still a bad roster. Looking over last year's schedule, I found a stretch where they won 9 of 10 and another where they won 8 of 10 and that team was terrible. I'd bet on them finishing last in the west again this year.

A little of both. The team wasn't nearly as bad as it played in April, as that would make them the Cleveland Spiders. No team is gonna hit 200 for the year.
The team is pitching out of its mind right now, and that will cool down some. But it's not like there is nothing in the lineup: the middle of their order is as good as any team in baseball (though the back of their order is among the worst). This is just a correction of the team playing worse than it was in April and now probably better than it is in May, balancing out to an "honest" record slightly below 500.

Playing Delino Deshields has added some energy and couple that with Beltre, shoo and Elvis starting to hit a little has helped...I agree with other posters bullpen is a nightmare and will keep them at .500 or worse all year

I'm waiting to see what happens when and if Josh gets into the clubhouse.
Despite being terrible the Rangers have a tight clubhouse (I think Elvis and his positive attitude have a lot to do with this, even if Beltre is trying to kill him for touching his head). Will Josh and the constant drama he brings destroy this?
