It was a huge fluke, I agree.

Biggest fluke win ever? Probably not.

The panthers super bowl win was worse. Oh wait.

Saints dominated that year, made the playoffs the year after, NFC championship 3 years prior, and a play away from likely another Lombardi in 2011. Not to mention the last 2 years. Fluke? Not a chance.

It's going to be fun to eliminate the Falcons from the division Thursday night.

If you're talking about 2012, you can't say they were a fluke considering the fact that they made the divisional round of the playoffs five consecutive years. I would say the 2011 Giants were probably the biggest fluke. 2011 was their only playoff appearance over a seven season stretch from 2009-2015. They also only won the NFC Championship Game because Kyle Williams fumbled two punt returns.

Lol at the arbitrary bullshite. 2007 and 2011. 2 Super Bowls in 4 years.

The saints would’ve destroyed them in 2011 though. The fluke was the 49ers winning that game.

I think it's funny that you guys are saying Saints, but none of you will offer an explanation.

That’s the only reason they’re doing it. They know it’s horseshite.

28-28. 11 seconds. Vikes ball, in FG range. Favre throws a pick

I wouldn't call them flukes, but the Colts over the Bears and Packers over the Steelers required convergences of chance so unlikely that they never replicated again, namely Bob Sanders staying healthy for Indy and Green Bay having a bunch of of average defensive players have career seasons.

They also missed the playoffs the two previous years. It would be equivalent to the Broncos winning the Super Bowl this year and then missing the playoffs the next four years. Or to make a comparison to another sport, it's similar to the Marlins winning two World Series in six years but not having a winning season in the five years in between and not making a single playoff appearance the following 15 years after their last WS win. They won the World Series twice but it wasn't a great run. They were just lucky to catch lightning in a bottle twice. Same thing with the Coughlin Giants teams.

Favre throwing a pick is never a fluke.

Not gonna be popular on here.

But they needed Brett Favre to go full retard at the end of the NFC champ game.

And then got the big break with the onside kick to start the 2nd half to stay with the Colts.
