Has Chad Morris surpassed Lou Tepper?

As the worst coordinator/coach of all time? Tepper is famous for the disaster that was the drop linebacker. Morris completed the full transition into dumpster fire at Arkansas and is now gonna get Dabo fired with this offense.

How did Mike Locksley get the Maryland job? He was 2-26 at New Mexico before being hired by the Terps.

Morris has been the Dim Mak for programs for a damn near a decade now. Never seen anyone torpedo teams like he does, just being in the building.
He should never coach again, in any capacity, after he gets Dabo fired. On the other hand, Petrino is going to save Bill's arse.

It's frankly impressive just how bad Morris has been since leaving Clemson in 2014.
He completely tanked the Arkansas program, who hasn't really recovered since. Then he got Malzahn fired from Auburn. And now he's about to put the final nail in Dabo's coffin.

He went through the Saban coaching rehab program. Plus, he had a ton of ties to the DMV. He used to be an ace recruiter in that area as an assistant. I guess Maryland thought those things outweighed the 2-26 at New Mexico.

Chad’s offense is simplistic. It’s built entirely around a basic run game that is only successful if his team controls the line of scrimmage, and the passing game needs elite WRs that can stretch the field on Go routes downfield.
He built his reputation by having a dominant offensive line and elite WRs in the ACC. It’s not a coincidence that as soon as he leaves Clemson, the program takes a big step forward and starts winning NCs and becomes a perennial playoff team.
