I used to love them for their coverage of college football. Now seems majority of their writers don't want college football to happen. Not sure if worth supporting a company that prided themselves on not being like espn

I love the site, but I don't really follow their national writers. Mostly just Texas and Louisiana sports, and they have a solid staff for those two. They have a couple of draft guys that I like as well

I got rid of it back in March once sports died. It was fine for Bengals and Reds stuff, but absolutely horrible coverage of Kentucky football.

Has anyone seen any “deals” for renewal or do you have to take the $55 +/- renewal rate they give you?

Canceled mine. It runs out in December. Too much social issue coverage and not enough sports coverage. I hate to cancel because they’re great when they actually cover sports. But there isn’t enough of that these days.

I’m holding off. Tired of reading first about all the wokeness then the COVID. When things settle down and we’re back to just sports I’ll probably re-subscribe. It was a good source of LSU and Saints news.

I did not renew my subscriptions. I wanted sports news but got moral and political diatribes. I wasn't interested enough to spend my time reading it so I opted out. If a new publication narrowly focused on sports news only becomes available, I will subscribe.

The good outweighs the bad IMO. I turned off auto-renew but that was more so to try and snag a discount later on if possible. All the typical crap is from a handful of the national guys. Most stuff is great and the local coverage is hard to beat.

Nope. Read it everyday still and I have no idea what everyone in this thread is even talking about. 95% of my feed is non-covid related and I don’t click on the covid articles (crazy concept). And I don’t think I’ve ever seen a political article.

I let my subscription run out 5 days ago after having it for three years. The Vols beat writers are really good, but I refuse to support a company that is fear mongering over covid

I canceled a few weeks ago because I didn’t want to pay the $59 annual fee. Within a couple of days I had an email from them for 50% off. I didn’t use it and then I found the same deal online a couple days later and signed up again. I think their coverage is great and I don’t find it to be too political.
