Biggest reason why the NBA blows

DEN/SF/NE/SEA/GB/NO/BAL aren't in the playoffs every year? Teams like JAC/TEN/STL/MIN/CLE/DET haven't sniffed a SB9or the playoffs for some of them) in forever

what "parity"

Parity is measured by the variance between the top and bottom teams, not the count of titles or even playoff berths.

This is stupid. It's asking what is your favorite sport.

So if somebody likes the NFL best and the NBA second best, then the NBA doesn't get counted.

This says nothing about the "most popular sports in the U.S." since people can like more than one sport, and the poll isn't taking that into account.

It's only asking which is your favorite.

Baseball sucks I can't believe people watch that garbage
None of my friends watch it which tells me everything I need to know

That's been the best one so far.

With that said, baseball is obviously dying.

NBA is fricking awful now. It's a bunch of guys who call a foul on every play

Golden era was 80s to around 2000

I just did a quick look at the stats. This year, the team with the most personal fouls commits 23.0 per game. The team with the least commits 17.5.

The furthest back I could check on NBA.com was 1996, and that year the most personal fouls committed per game was 22.8, and the least was 18.4.

So overall, it's almost virtually identical. Long story short, you're full of shite.

Here's more stats:

LINK

There are fewer fouls per team per game than in the 80s.

ETA: A LOT fewer fouls. More fouls actually drives scoring up because of the free throws, BTW.

I bet if they asked people to rank the sports in order of how much they watch the list would be quite different

It only asked to vote for your favorite sport, so all the traditional MLB fans are still there to keep them in 2nd
