I wuz not im...pressed with his per...for...mance.

I was impressed with his heart and impressed how he stayed on his back for 24:30 seconds of the fight and didn't get finished.

I think some guy scored the bout 50-43. Did I hear that correctly?

I LOLed when he said on the prelims that he gained weight because Alves outweighed him by 30lbs in the cage. I guess Alves adds 50lbs back in 24 hours.

I noticed that too and I can't imagine why he wouldn't want a Carwin-Lesnar matchup?

Carwin won exactly like EVERYONE wanted him to.

Carwin is now 12-0 11 KOs and a verbal submission.

By the time the Lesnar-Carwin fight gets here both will have grown to 6'6" and will fight a catchweight bout for the title at 305 lbs.

This has got to be the biggest bout in UFC history.

Yet I'm watching the Winter Classic Hockey coverage and the Women's breakdown of the elite 8 and not a peep about UFC 111 on sportcenter.

Does anyone have a link to a video of the Carwin beatdown? I can't find one that works on my computer.

YOU DA MAN!!! I tried a different video from that site earlier but the video never came up. It just had this little icon in the top left corner like it was picture or something.

To the fight: I will eat crow on that one. I was almost certain that we would see Carwin lose for the first time. Very impressive. Smothered Mir and didn't give him a chance to do anything.

And Mirgliota (sp?) should be suspended for that one. Mir was clearly in serious trouble and he just let him keep getting blasted. Right when he flattened himself out it should have been stopped at the latest.

Can't wait for Lesnar-Carwin now. 2 huge rhinos in the cage going at it. Sweet.

I'm guessing they did a million pay-per-views last night.

They need to get a big co-main event with Carwin-Lesnar.

Like Chuck vs. Tito 3 which I'm sure that has already been scheduled.

Oh the co-main event could be James Toney vs. Randy Couture

Man that would do about 2 million PPV's

That picture just goes on to show just how fricking large Lesnar really is. Geez.

And if Carwin is 6'5" then Lesnar is 6'10"

dude he did that damage with the left hand. Imagine if he would have hit him with the right. I am a Broc fan but Carwin can definately knock him the frick out. That is going to be a good ppv.

It would be huge. I like the idea of getting a killer co-main with that PPV. Right now, I'd buy a Carwin-Lesnar PPV depending on the rest of the card.

I was not surprised by Carwin's mashing. I am glad it happened because Lesnar beat Carwin's arse so bad last time, it would have been the same all over again. Carwin and Lesnar are mirror images of one another style wise.

Lesnar will have to get over his bout with the AIDS first.

That would definitely draw fans, and I'd watch, but a part of me would be wishing they'd all ride off into the sunset. It would be like watching a more violently skilled and still dangerous version of the PGA Senior Tour or NBA Legends Game @ AllStar weekend..yet knowing in your mindseye how fab they all were when at their skills peak when younger.

lets face it though, GSP DID have him in the first round. Almost anyone else would have and should have submitted to that arm bar. I won money last night betting on Carwin and GSP (I had to take an underdog so did the other guy)

By the way, WTF was that Mir gameplan? Try and stand with the hardest puncher imaginable when you are a BJJ guy to begin with? lol
