Better than Montana. He also claims bill walsh created the west coast offense for joe's transcendant talent. This guys crazy right?

I'd like to see Tammy Brady try his luck in the '60s or '70s, when football was football.
I think he would be exposed as a little bitch.
GOAT, my arse.

On the other hand, the players today are bigger, stronger and faster, so maybe he would adjust quite fine.
We'll never know.

Football is still football. It's simply evolved.
Back in the 60's and 70's, everyone was rough and tumble. There wasn't as much insight as players have into the game today.
Not to mention players are exponentially faster and stronger today than back then. They don't need to go mano a mano, they can simply outrun everyone with their superior speed and agility.

I think Brady is the best of this era, but when he gets hit his game is nowhere near as good. I’m not saying he would not be good but Id like to see him try his luck getting tagged all the tine. Remember, you get hit in the head then too and to the echo of the whistle.

You can't compare. So who cares?
Roger Staubach was probably better than them all but he played when Mel Blount could clothesline every receiver and tackle them before the ball arrived.
So?
Btw, not Montana, not Brady and not Manning.
The biggest disparity between his own Quarterback rating and the rest of the league is Roger Staubach.
Most the of the NFL bad QBs have been pretty close to Brady and Manning in QB ratings over the years.
Staubach dwarfed his peers.
That's how easy the position became with killing Mel Blount.

Football teams from the 60s and 70s would get absolutely murdered by teams today, it would be no contest. Bigger, stronger, and faster today by shite loads.

Brady is the GOAT but he played in an era when passing offenses have advantages that weren't there in Montana's day.

Back then, the DB's could play bump and run up until when the ball was thrown. The pussy rules the NFL put in place to help the offense are the real reason we have QB's completing 68 - 70% of their passes. No way Brady would be as great had he played in 60's and 70's. Back then secondaries could actually play defense without worrying about some ticky-tack PI penalty being called all the time.

you sure do make up a lot of shite...

Exactly. Had Brady played in a bygone era, he wouldn't have been nearly as effective. Secondaries back then could actually play real pass defense, not this pussy crap the NFL rules have created to increase scoring and more passing. I remember the ratings for the NFL were down due to a lot of low scoring defensive games, and hence the rules making it easier to pass.
