Gus Johnson is without a doubt the best play by play guy that CBS has doing March Madness. How much longer before they replace Nantz with him.
He just had a back to back PURE!!!!!!!!!! And RISE AND FIRE!!!

all im gonna say is gus johnson is quickly becoming overated for the fellating people do for him every time he calls a game

Yeah, but w/ sooo many horribly shitty announcers out there an average one seems really good.
And a really good one like Gus seems like the second coming of Howard Cosell. He's one of the few we've got. People will get tired of hearing about how awesome he is but it's not b/c he's overrated, it's b/c there's barely anybody else out there to like.

I've been on the Gus bandwagon since the beginning, but he should never replace Nantz.
Nantz is the most underrated national play-by-play guy in the business. Very underrated.

Gus is very similar to Cosell, he does a little bit of everything. NBA, NFL, Boxing, MMA, college basketball, baseball, etc..
I bet Gus could make NASCAR and Bowling exciting to me if he was calling them on TV.
