What are thoughts and opinions on the greatest high school football team Louisiana has ever produced?

Those West Monroe teams in the mid to late 90's were pretty stacked.

1990 Ruston is best ever...IMO

The Johe Curtis squad that beat Hoover by 40 was pretty stacked with Joe McKnight. Give me Newman with Peyton though.

There were a couple of teams last year that made monster pushes toward the end of the year to get that one win to qualify for the playoffs at 1-9....

Didn't even win a 2A title in those years. Seeing as they weren't the best 2A team of that time, I'm going to assume they weren't the best La. High School team of all time.

I thought this was going to be like an All Time list at each position. That would be fun too.

2005 Northshore High School football team out of Slidell in Class 5A was impressive. We went 0-10 and had one running back that went on to play D-3 ball at something Mary & Joseph bible college in TX or something like that. I think he walked on though.

We had one game we almost won at Mandeville. I think we were up 20-0 (we missed an extra point) but Mandeville completed the 4th quarter comeback to win 21-20 and keep us winlesss. Me and all my friends decided to drive to Mandeville to catch the end when we heard we were winning at halftime. It was amazing to see just how good we were at losing. Best ever IMHO.
