The best one from Seattle had Spencer Hawes, Isaiah Thomas, Martell Webster, Micah Downs and Jon Brockman. All were 5 stars and McDonalds All-Americans besides Thomas, who was probably the best player. They won one of the best AAU tournaments in the country by beating Durant and Ty Lawson by 17 points. I looked to see if they faced off against Oden's team, but couldn't find anything.

Maybe the best one ever and from the West Coast had Brandon Jennings, Kevin Love, Daniel Hackett, Taylor King, Renardo Sidney, and Malik Story. They went 47-0.

Is that Jon Brockman and Spencer Hawes in the first pic?

I just posted about that team, then saw the picture and read this. That team was legit. Isaiah Thomas came off the bench. The PG in that picture is Mitch Johnson, who was the starting PG for Stanford.

I was gonna say the Atlanta Celtics as well.

I got to see that team with Conley and Co. play though and they were insanely good.

CSB but I played against Shane Larkin and Austin Rivers at nationals way back when.

They were on the same team and both were beastly

That was about the peak of the careers of all but Love and Jennings, unfortunately

They definitely don't measure up to that team but Glen Davis, Garrett Temple, Tyrus Thomas, and Tasmin Mitchell were on the same team. Can't remember who the other one was

Darryl Mitchell. The 5 guys that led LSU to the Final Four in 2006.

Throw in Early Doucet, the NFL receiver, he was on their team as well.

In terms of success, the best AAU team of all time was All Ohio Red with Aaron Craft, Sully, Adrian Payne, Jordan Siebert and JD Weatherspoon (Siebert and Weatherspoon transferred from OSU). Only AAU team to win 3 consecutive national championships at 3 different age groups.

In terms of future studs, the class of 2016 has been said to be the best ever in the state of Ohio. There are many frosh making big contributions on a varsity level at big schools. 6'-5" VJ King out of Akron SVSM (Lebron's HS) and 6'-7" Seth Towns from Northland HS in Columbus (Sully and Trey Burke's HS) lead the group. Matta offered VJ in 8th grade.

Daryl Mitchell is a year older than those guys and two years older than Tasmin.

Early Doucet and Brandon Bass was also on that team. They were the Louisiana Bulldogs coached by Collis Temple. Other players who were on the team was Oliver Lafayette who played at Houston in college who also had a stint with the Celtics and Chijuan Mack who played receiver at Okie St.

I was waiting for some kind of comment about Gordon.

Actually I got the info about that AAU team from the Titus book. I think Gordon Hayward was on a much younger version of that team as well.

Here's an interesting AAU team from a few years back that I just remembered. Raleigh D-One Sports had John Wall, Ryan Kelly, CJ Leslie, and LSU's own Sonic Sam Montgomery

The D-One shirt? Did Montgomery play in the summer before his senior year?

In New York the most legendary team is Gauchos which had Felipe Lopez and Stephon Marbury in the early 90s. Lopez is considered to be as good a HS basketball player as there has ever been
