If a guy was hired to play at 'Bama for one year, I wouldn't give two shits about him once he left. Newton doesn't give a shite about Auburn. But you guys worship him. Lame... and sad.

Nice try guys but I have been reading this board for around 2 years. Just because I don't post on here daily doesn't mean I don't know whats going on, lol. I'm 31 years old, graduated from AU and know my way around football. Being called a noob doesn't bother me. People posting in threads to start flames when they care nothing about the subject does. If that bothers you guys then you can go cry about it somewhere else.

I have doubts still. Much like Tebow, he wasn't called upon as a pure passer very much in college. He only threw for more than 21 times 3 times in his college career. He may very well be able to carry the load behind center, but his effectiveness was because of his legs. Whether or not he's able to do that at the Pro level remains to be seen.

It's just a number.. When Cam takes the starting job and Clausen is traded elsewhere, Cam can have #2 if he wants it. He's about to take the NFL by storm. Ok, maybe not. But, an arm like Culpepper, legs like Vick, and a body like Jarvis Moss... He has all the tools.

I definitely have my doubts as well. It's hard to be a running QB in the NFL. Granted I think his size is important and he does have a better arm than most dual threat QB's coming in. It will take some time "if" he can be successful.

Possibly. Tebow also had great accuracy, but never threw the ball much in college either. I'm curious to see if he can handle tossing the ball 30 to 40 a game. Perhaps he will make it a dual threat offense, but like you, I think it's going to be tough.
