UNLV (2-0) at Kansas (1-1) - ESPN
The Rebels have started off the year a moderately surprising 2-0 after dominating their games against Houston 27-7 and Utah Tech 72-14. Kansas came into the year w/the most hype they've had in a decade but stumbled last week dropping a heartbreaker to Bert and Illinois 23-17.
7:00pm
#20 Arizona (2-0) at #14 Kansas State (2-0) - Fox
Arizona is 2-0 w/wins against New Mexico 61-39 and Northern Arizona 22-10. I'm not really sure why they've started th year ranked considering they have a completely new coaching staff though new HC Brett Brennan did take San Jose State to 3 bowls in his last 4 years. Kansas State meanwhile was saved by the officiating gods last week against Tulane and should be 1-1 if the refs hadn't stolen two TDs from the Wave in a 34-27 win. They also whipped Tennessee Martin 41-6 in their opener.

UNLV's formations are unique. They'll put 2 rb's only an inch apart on 1 side of the QB and then either rb has the option of who goes in motion, helping the qb to pre read the D.

Kansas got away w/a huge hold on that big run just now.

I like Kansas' helmet logo. Looks best on a blue helmet, I think.

Jayhawk is a pansy mascot.

Kansas has the same song as the Aggies, only slower.

Not going to lie man, I don’t get KU’s and Ok State’s choice of a fight song. It’s so slow and methodical and it almost mellows the crowd from the initial excitement of a score.

That’s not our fight song, just a touchdown song (song after winning in basketball and if an opposing player fouls out too)
Oklahoma St’s though is their fight song

Keep taking field goals as long as we keep moving the ball
