We've had the better chances despite the SOG, two huge blocked shots with empty nets.

I don't like our chances but if we can at least get a point and come away with 3 points from a Ducks Kings back to back I will happily take it.

pens win 1-0 in OT.

without a doubt. we only got 3 out of 8 and i wanted at least 4 out of 8.
you will have at least 4 out of 6 guaranteed.

What has changed?
The addition of Franson and Santorelli.
No more Oli Jokinen on the fourth line.
Less PT for Jarnkrok.
Less shots overall - preds used to outshoot the other team and that's not happening. Neal is on the second line last night....
Play jarnkrok more and send Franson to Milwaukee and the problems are solved IMO
Rangers play Blackhawks tonight - will be interesting to see how Richards does against his old club

Bad Sasha.
Semin was never the most disciplined player in the world, but leaving the comforts of the DC firewagon system has really exposed his flaws, particularly his complete and total defensive indifference. Actually, most the criticisms people lob at Ovi are the ones they should have directed at Semin.
That said, he's a pure sniper. Just a gloriously beautiful shot. Ask him to do nothing but score, and he can do that. The problem is, he's being asked to do more than that, instead of being a 2nd line scorer getting sheltered minutes.
Also, he's pouting because Carolina is a total tire fire.
