I always laugh at people that will rail on Hamilton and never speak on Vettel who does the same thing.

Like I said, just getting back in but they seem like very similar personalities to me.

Going to be interesting to see how long Hamilton tries to hang around. Obviously he's performing at a very high level still but everyone knows how quickly that can change with some bad luck and being in a potentially less dominant car.

His salary demands may come into play with the spending cap as well..

His attitude this year seems different as well. Almost like he is enjoying the show that goes with it and he isn't all moody when he isn't the best.

If he is honest about still loving the challenge then he will find a ride for next year.

He apparently took a pay cut for this year in exchange for some Merc concessions. Maybe the money doesn't have to be crazy for him to continue racing. GR is a lot cheaper though.

formula 1 video explaining

The extension of parc fermé is going to suck for some teams.

Not sure what they will really gain out of Saturday practice if they can't make any adjustments for future improvements. Friday practice is going to be prepping for the sprint race.

a pretty harsh critique

The more I read, the more it just seems like a cash grab by essentially adding one more day of higher priced events. I might be more receptive to it if they were doing the reverse grid thing because I like chaos, but without it I don't see much point.

I don't know what to think yet. I'll enter with an open mind, but it does seem a bit gimmicky.

Look at the last attempt to "improve" qualifying. That was terrible.

The tire allotment needs to be explained better. If the teams only have two sets of race tires it will be horrible. Someone gets a puncture and their race is done.

I used the F1 app and all it said was give them my email and then they would notify me when tickets are ready.

Where are you seeing them?

I could not get in but I found a cached webpage and followed the link this morning at 10:30am. I was #4768 in queue. Took until 3:00pm. Got a cell ring letting me know I was in. I had 6 minutes to decide. Got great seats on Row 9, Section 6 or Turn 12, the Saturday concert and parking. I'm not at home but will post the link here if nobody can get in when I get home in about 30 minutes.

Yes, we're going to be just a little bit higher and one section closer to the turn. Got lucky to get these at the price we paid: $289 each for the 3 day tickets. On the website they now have them at $427 each for rows 6-20 and I got ours on Row 9. I guess they saw how fast they were selling today, and made some adjustments

Higher would be the way to go. It is hard to see 13/14/15 from that low.

Well... yeah, but by the time all the ticket brokers had gobbled up everything this morning, getting four together above row 9 was impossible.
