I hope Jake Paul actually comes through

Good news is it appears that Ben has received the transplant

Woah, that was super quick. It didn't seem like Ben was even well enough to undergo a transplant surgery.

I've seen a lung transplant patient that the doctors had up and ambulating fresh from surgery. He was staggering around looking like the walking dead. Ben looks surprisingly good in comparison.

Wow man. The guy is so lucky. It also must be truly humbling to basically be dead and then come back to life and see the outpouring of love from everyone in your communities.

Man that is so awesome. He's got a long way to go but he's a fighter.

I don't care what Jake Paul and does in public, that guy, along with numerous other fighters and fans, helped save Askren's life, while the UFC, at least publicly, did nothing.

Hopefully Askren recovers enough to have a normal life again, but I doubt he will ever be able to be around wrestling in person again due to a weakened immune system and risk of staph infection associated with the sport.

Incredible that he survived this. That video was very hard to watch.

Askren is going home. Looks way better than his first video and you can see a man truly humbled in this video

By most accounts, Askren is a very nice guy.

A (good) while back he was on my card in a disc golf tournament. He seemed like a great guy and was very nice. Not surprisingly, one thing I immediately noticed when he threw is that he is just a natural athlete.
