Nobody is annointing Tebow anything. But what I can't stand is those people who are actively cheering for him--someone who has done things the right way--to fail. Is your life that damn miserable?

I love how Tebow absolutely shite down the throats of the haters last night
I think the Broncos are now my 2nd favorite NFL team, because I love seeing the haters squirm and continue to claim he is just terrible and he continues to win
+ 100
Haters love to throw stats around. I wonder if they watched him load them up on his back and take them 95 yards for the W.
I dont really understand what kind of personality it takes to hate a guy like Tebow. He seems like a sincere kid.

Who gives a frick? He puts it on the line out there. Tebow leaves it all on the field every game. Sometimes thats enough. Anyone that cant respect that at least doesnt appreciate the game imo.
In the end this is a nice little story for ESPN to play for the next 48 hours. The Bronco's aren't going to make the playoffs and Tebow won't be able to do this for long. Lets be honest with ourselves.

The only thing I'm anointing him as is my Lord and Savior.

Is that how you live your life, by what ESPN says?

Wow bold prediction but Id say they have a much better chance than when they were 1-4 and getting beat by 30 every game.

The hatred is racial jealousy imo. This shite works both ways people. Tebow is a white QB who runs, that cant happen in today's NFL.
Aaron Rodgers says "Hi".

is it possible to think tebow is not a good qb w/o hating him?

The irrational hatred is what is funny to me.
The main reason people want him to fail is so they can be right. Nobody wants to admit they were wrong about the guy. I hope he continues doing what NFL teams set out to do.

You consider Rodgers a running quarterback?

Sure it is but you dont fall into this camp along with many others.

If you want to crown him, them crown him

It's going to suck for you when you're wrong... again.

I don't hate Tebow. I just think he's a horrible QB.

Look up his running numbers and compare them to other QBs.
Rodgers CAN run, but he doesn't rely on it because he can actually complete passes down field.

exactly, I don't hate him at all and I think some parts of his game could be used at another position. But, the idea that the read option and only being able to complete 9 or 10 passes at the nfl level is acceptable is ridiculous people

Nobody is "annointing" him, we are just refuting the prevelant thought that he is the worst QB in the history of the NFL.

just like people were saying the Jets would last night?
With that defensive backfield, why in the frick would you take an LB off the field and not force him to throw?
frick the Jets.

Why is it a feel good story?
Answer: Because ESPN has spent the last month asking every fomer NFL player and every "never-played but I run my mouth on tv/radio personality" if Tebow is any good? Almost unanimously they all answered, "No, Tebow is a terrible quarterback." Now after 5 games, the Broncos, which have been about the 2nd worst team in the NFL for the last two years in games that Tebow didn't start are 4-1, and back in the hunt for the division title. That's why it's a feel good story.
In a way, it's kind of like the Western Kentucky fans that I sat by last Saturday night. They were pretty certain that WKU would get beat. They hoped for the best, but were realistic. So when they scored the first 1st quarter touchdown on LSU all season, they celebrated, they high-fived, and they took pictures of the scoreboard. They knew it might not last, but they were gonna party while they had the chance.

There is one name in pro sports as of this morning as far as I'm concerned, and that's Tim Tebow. Look at what he's done and hate it or love it, it's definitely interesting. Ugly, but 4-1 as a starter, with a big win over the Jets.
