That pass to Welker was perfectly placed.
The Patriots WRs are trained to sit in the wholes of a zone, and thats where Brady threw it.

Brady can't focus for more than about half a game anymore. This time his half of good football was at the end of the 2nd and start of the 3rd. Other than that, Brady and Belichick play the game like they're better than everyone else and treat the super bowl like a meaningless game. Brady's safety and his interception were rookie moves.

Under those circumstances, that call is usually never made. Yes, technically its correct, but its the same as the tuck rule, almost never applied. We benefited from an outlandish rule once, and now it hurt us.

They were bad plays but you are making it into something it is not. Patriots don't run the ball, giants get a good pass rush, and giants secondary stepped up big time. That was the difference tonight.
