Margarito was also a welterweight champion and Floyd took less money to fight Judah. But as I said I will excuse him for that since he wanted to get away from Arum. This fight is an inexcusable pussy move. Also if you are trying to insinuate Baldomir was even half the fighter Margarito was then please don't even respond.

Margarito fricking sucks man and always has. Judah was a much tougher matchup for Floyd than frickin Margarito.
And yes Margs held a belt but Baldomir was recognized as THE champion. But again, if you think Margs would have even won a round or two the you need to find another sport to follow

Floyd's "clout" made the fight meaningless. If you are the best you don't need to create an advantage you'll fight at the weight you are a 2x champion at. Floyd had no problem fighting at 154 but since the guy he's fighting now is actually in his prime and dangerous he needs one it is indefensible.
