Winning 15 games a season he would have to pitching another 14 years.....

Which he has done once in his 7 full seasons. The Mariners would have to get their shite together ASAP for him to have a shot.

Throwing out his first season (only 5 starts), it took Maddux 17 years of ~18 wins and ~33 starts a season to hit 300. In 9 seasons, Maddux had 131 wins and 2 20-win seasons in 269 starts. He'll be close to the 269 starts but would have to win every single game he starts to be close.

In HIS first 9 seasons, Clemens had 152 wins. Felix won't be close.

The Big Unit had 104 wins in his first 9...he had to pitch til he was 45 to get 300.

Felix has the stuff to be a 300-Game Winner...but not the team.

The only active pitcher that kind of has a shot is CC and that's slim. If he were to pitch another 8 seasons, he needs 14 wins per. Doable, but health will be an issue.

The King could (should) be creeping up on 200 career wins at age 27 instead of just cracking the 100 mark if his team gave him any run support.

In an 8-year period that has seen 19 20-win seasons, he should have ~23 wins a season?

I hate the ownership. The Mariners have not made the playoffs since 01. That has to be one of the current longest draughts. Manager after manager, they still suck. Bringing in the fences hasn't even helped. They were blasted by the damn Astros multiple times.

Felix is younger than Maddux and Clemens were when they won 100 games. Yes he'll probable need the Mariners to get good at some point but he's on a great pace the only question is if he'll stay healthy and if he will play in to his 40s(like all 300 game winner shave)

Wasn't Maddux 27 as well? Or did he turn 28 in season?

Broke in at 20- 2 wins
21- 4 wins
22- 18
23- 19
24- 15
25- 15
26- 20
27- 20

Roger was either 27 or turned 28 during season he won his 100th game as well.
