Fedor is a fricking bitch. Legacy tarnished

Yeah, but that was ten years ago. Tito was a much different fighter then.
Definitely, but you'd figure Tito would want to fight Frank then to get his revenge before making such a bold statement. Or maybe he beat Ken enough times that it counts for both step brothers.

fwiw...I think Fedor wants too.....I truely believe hes stuck with these people though.....for whatever reason he can't shake them....and they are fricking him.

Fedor laid it out pretty simple in the link I posted.
He said he is under contract for 3 more fights with M-1. He said he would honor his contract. He said he would see after he finished his contract.
1. He is under contract with M-1
2. M-1 will let him fight in the UFC IF the UFC co-promotes.
Seems simple to me. I understand the UFC refusing to co-promote, but I also understand a contract and Fedor is under contract at the moment.

under contract with an organization that is basically a shell company just to suck money from him

BTW, Barnett is free to fight anywhere he wants and can get licensed including Nevada and California. He didn't have a California license when he failed his drug test, therefore they have no authority to suspend him.
Now I'm sure he will get piss test before and after any fight anywhere in the US if he does fight here again.

And from who ever is dumb enough to co-promote with them. They bring nothing to the table but Fedor. No money, no marketing expertise, no logistics, no contacts with the commissions, nothing.

whats the deal with the mousasi-babalu fight? Is it something where the UFC had the rights to the contracts?
Posted on 7/31/09 at 3:51 pm to Maximus
Babalu is under Strikeforce and being loaned to Affliction. That's why it was so easy to move it to Strikeforce.

yeah but they were asking mousasi about the ufc possibly suing to postpone the fight though but i was halfway paying attention

I missed all that. No idea.

IMHO he's still a top 10 fighter.
Just in the UFC in no particular order:
Machida
Shogun
Rich Franklin
Lidell
Griffin
Rampage
Rashad
Jardine
Wandy
Henderson
Matt Hammil
Vera
Also An. Silva at 205 would whip his arse.

Machida - I would honetsly like to see that rematch.
Shogun
Rich Franklin- I think this would be a really good fight
Lidell
Griffin
Rampage
Rashad- a point deduction cost him a win.
Jardine- Would beat Jardine
Wandy- would be incredible
Henderson-Hendo would win imho
Matt Hammil
Vera
looking at that list there is no one I would say would just destroy Tito. He COULD beat anyone on that list.
Posted on 7/31/09 at 4:50 pm to fightingtiger2335
he cant touch machida. dont let one sloppy triangle fool you. he didnt land a punch in that fight
Posted on 7/31/09 at 4:50 pm to fightingtiger2335
if machida fought tito in a rematch he would destroy tito.

I'm not....and Machida may very well go back to the jab and run for 20 seconds method that I use to hate him for if he fought Tito again.
It wasn't like Tito was beat up during that match..but Machida was using the jab and run method a ton during that match.
Posted on 7/31/09 at 4:53 pm to fightingtiger2335
he toyed with tito the entire fight. machida eludes, kenny florian runs away

machida eludes
people hated him for awhile because of his running away...elude is being nice.
I will say he toyed with tito in the sense that Tito couldn't catch up with him after he would jab and run.
I remember during one of the rounds Tito saying something along the lines of "he keeps running..I can't grab him"
I'll give credit to Machida....he won the 1st round w/ that method and it made Tito become more aggressive than he wanted to so Tito had to start taking more chances.
Trying not to get into the UFC point system is fricking ridiculous argument thinking of this match is reminding me how much I hated Machidas early methods of using the horrible system thats in place so wisely.

I just don't think Tito is as done as people think he is. Fought Evans to a draw and that point deduction is why he didn't win.
He couldn't handle Chuck...but chuck did run rampant there for awhile. I think tito would struggle w/ someone like rampage.
FWIW...I love how Machida now has patients and aggressiveness..>I just hated his early days in UFC
