looking at that list there is no one I would say would just destroy Tito. He COULD beat anyone on that list
- The new, more agressive Machida would finish him in the 2nd at the latest
- A healthy Shogun shits all over him
- Franklin wins 7 out of 10 if they fight
- Chuck killed him twice
- A young and still over-aggresive Forrest gave him a run for him money. He is much better now
- Rampage by murder
- Again Rashad improved so much from fight to fight that Rashad now would KO him. And that one point deduction for grabbing the cage was very justified
- Jardine wins a majority of the fights if they fought 10 times. And I am not a Jardine fan by any means
- Wandy by KO
- Hendo eats him
- Hammil decides where these fights go. He wins a majority as well
- Vera by KO
And of course he could win against any of these guys. That's how this sport is.

Man imho you ethier hate Tito or just severly underestimate him....esp. after I read this statement...
Me thinks you just hate Tito. You heard it here first...he makes a descent splash on his return (not belt winner...but wins some people won't think he will)

Tito is still a good fighter. But IMO to be ranked ahead of someone you should be able to beat them a majority of the time. I don't see that with any of the guys I listed.
And let's not forget the only reason I made that list was because you said that he was still a top 10 fighter. So let's not act like I'm the one talking out of my arse here. As of right now, he isn't. If he comes back and wins a few like you said, yeah that will change and I will give him his do. I just don't see it.

you honestly think Jardine is a better fighter? I'll give ya Chuck whooped his arse twice...and I don't think Tito wanted nay part of that 2nd fight because he knew what was going to happen.
But besides Machida (even though I want a rematch) and rampage on that list are the ones I would say...ok..if they fought 10 times they would win majority for sure.

my bad..I think Hendo would win majority also.

I f**king hate Jardine. I just think his style just gives people fits. I will be honest that he is the guy on that list I would be the least confident in beating Tito.
Are you saying that they are only 2 that would win a majority or am I misreading your statement? Kind of worded badly and confusing.

I'm saying besides hendo, rampage, and Machida (and chuck because of past history..but not chuck now) that no one on that list I would say "ok they are winning majority of time no doubt ni my mind" I think he is pretty even to them....
Titos last few fights I honestly don't know how much his heart was into it...ya..he trained and all..and to be honest..when chuck beat him I dont know if he lost alot of his confidence in his chin...so he didn't want to be hit anymore...but i'm thinking this time off is going to be what he needed

Wow. Ok. I guess we are just going to have to agree to disagree big time on this one. We will find out in a few months I guess.

UFC signed Vitor Belfort and he will face Rich Franklin for the main event instead of Dan Henderson.
So Vitor's fighting at 205?
Posted on 7/31/09 at 7:55 pm to etm512
Part of the fu of the sport is debating fighters....sometimes we think the ones are untouchable hit a unthinkable 2 fight losing streak..and ones you think are done just start reeling some off. Most unpredictable sport out there
Posted on 7/31/09 at 7:57 pm to etm512
yeah supposedly its at 205 which is weird cause he just turnd down the Mousasi fight because it was at 205 and he wanted to stay at 185. i'd love to see him vs the marquardt-mai winner regardless of who wins this fight
Posted on 7/31/09 at 7:59 pm to fightingtiger2335
And we are debating about probably the most logjammed division in the UFC (the LHWs) from #2-10.

FWIW...I think Tito and Franklin would have been a fight I def. bought.....but.....I think Dana doesn't want to throw Tito into such a tough fight for his first fight back....Tito vs Coleman I like..I ilke both fighters...if Coleman wins...tito is done..if Coleman loses..he lost to an established fighter...so I can just enjoy that fight if it happens.
FWIW..I would love to watch Tito beat the frick out of Franklin....mainly because I hate Franklin

he'd just lay on frankin for 3 rounds if anything. franklin would kill tito on the feet
Posted on 7/31/09 at 8:06 pm to Maximus
I couldn't tell you what I hate about Franklin..he's never done anything bad...but something about him..I think he's overrated....Very good fighter just when he's in a big fight I rarely feel like he's the favorite.

Tito would not just get mauled by Lesnar, he would get frickING MAULED. Tito couldn't deal with Randy's wrestling, against Brock he would be a joke.

to be honest..Brock didn't excel against Randys wrestling..ive said it plenty of times on here before..Randy laid the game plan to beat Brock....Randy won round 1 by putting him on the cage...w/ his wrestling....
btu Brock is a great wrestler..just saying...Randy is a better wrestler than Brock imho
