Hampton may be the only one that can do that due to resources, Howard possibly since in DC. But rest of SWAC MEAC is somewhat stuck which is why they never play at home outside of conference and play all the classics.
Plus Hampton can compete in other sports as well in the Big South, which is not a very good league, especially since Coastal took the money and ran.

So how do you feel about McNeese's chances of getting into the playoffs now?
I still think it's crazy we are even in this discussion. Potentially being 9-2 aside, our resume has jack shite on it. We played 3 teams with a pulse, and lost to 2 of them.
How the Southland is 6th among conferences is inexplicable to me considering the dogshit after the Top 4 or 5. Five of Eleven schools have winning records, and one of those was close to finishing with a losing record.
And how our SOS is as high as it is is also inexplicable to me.

They are in they were in I thought already because the CAA Sky and MVC all were getting 4 only. Nicholls had to win to be in but people didn’t want to listen.
