UCA getting lots of love helped SLU get in, so not too mad, but it’s a bit head scratching.

Nicholl's conference losses to two teams worse than them was their albatross. didn't even score against Sam. UCA's losses were to top tier teams in the conference plus their FBS win against Western Kentucky at WK, the team that embarrassed Ark. at Ark. and not to mention UCA had the best overall record in the league at 9-3.

Don’t see Nicholls or SLU doing well. Neither have the team to knock off Montana or BDSU on the road

The UCA national seed stings a bit. But, as most have stated on here, they had some factors that the committee weighs heavily. There were some definite head scratchers in the top 8, though. But FCS was a bit more competitive this year than in seasons past.
Glad to see the SLC get three teams in. But, they have a chance to get just 1 team into the quarterfinals at best. I think Nicholls wins at home and we know what seems inevitable in the 2nd round. Southeastern got a home game but maybe against the toughest road opponent across the first round of the bracket. And, if they can pull of the win, they get to go freeze their asses off in Missoula. Nicholls went there once in the 90s and it wasn't pretty. Snowy as frick.
