NL - Braves with Lemke, Nixon, Justice, and that great pitching staff.

AL - Rangers with Franco, Gonzales, Sierra, and Pudge. I think Brown was still there with Pavlik and Witt. Pitching sucked.

Is that Braves plaque a misprint? I could have sworn the Phillies won the National League pennant that year.

What the shite do you want me to do? Cheer for the Zephyrs? I liked the Astros growing up too, but I always cared way more about the Cubbies.

Didn't know Brett Butler played for the Braves.

Butler made it big with the Braves.

I was already in college when WNOL in New Orleans came on local broadcast television, my parents didn't want cable at that time. They had a deal for about three years with the Astros and we got about 40 or so games a year in New Orleans, plus a good radio feed.

Listened to the great 86 Astros team, remember Ken Caminiti when he came up, among other good players.
